Overview
What remote owner updates involves
Ownership records at the Dubai Land Department must match your current documents. A renewed passport, a change of nationality, a lost title deed or an off-plan unit that has been handed over but never registered as a title deed all create friction when you later sell, mortgage or gift the property.
For owners living abroad these are small tasks with disproportionate inconvenience. We coordinate them through the DLD, the developer and the trustee office, using a Power of Attorney where attendance is required.
Coordination service. ASMA manages the paperwork and sequencing; the underlying decision or act is made by the relevant licensed professional or authority.

Frequently asked
Questions about remote owner updates
Do I need to come to Dubai?
Usually not. Many updates can be made with a Power of Attorney; we confirm which steps require your presence before you plan anything.
Why complete the title deed after handover?
A unit still registered under its Oqood cannot be sold, mortgaged or gifted as a completed property until the title deed is issued.
